This session reminds me of why I love photographing children: they are genuine. As hard as I tried to get beautiful, posed photos for this awesome family’s Christmas card – and I believe I succeeded – I also captured a lot of real moments! And that’s what makes me the happiest when I comb through photos after a session. Having a son of my own, I know all about the energy level of little boys, so rather than try to force these two to sit still for me for two hours, we had fun, played with trains, and goofed around a little. As a result, I think I captured their true personalities in these photos, and that makes me happy.
