I can’t even begin to express how thrilled and honored I was when Megan and Joseph asked me to photograph their wedding at the Occidental Grand on the beautiful island of Aruba! I took their engagement photos in DC last August, so I already knew what a special couple they are and how they are made for each other. I was so excited that I was going to have the chance to document the most important day of their lives for them! (No pressure.) 😉 Megan and Joseph are such a sweet, down to earth couple so I knew that their wedding was going to be relaxed, meaningful and fun – and it was! Neither one of them seemed nervous at all before the ceremony. I could tell that they were just excited to see each other and to be married in front of their closest family and friends. Even though we had some threatening rain the morning of the wedding, when it came time for the ceremony the sky cleared up and everything was absolutely perfect. Just like they are for each other.
