When the day came for this beautiful couple’s maternity session, it really could not have been uglier outside. I mean we’re talking rain, sleet AND snow. It was already spring and so not what we had in mind when we planned for photos in Old Town Alexandria. LOL. After some boudoir photos at their home, we headed over to the National Portrait Gallery, which I am embarrassed to admit I had never been to before. I was a little out of my comfort zone because I had no idea where we were going to shoot, but you know, it’s a good thing to step out of your comfort zone every once in a while! The museum was gorgeous and it was fun not really having a plan and just rolling with it. My clients were up for anything, so we had a blast exploring the museum and shooting in all kinds cool spots.
I just found out today that their baby has arrived yesterday. (Have I mentioned I’m behind with blogging?) 🙂 I can’t wait to meet the little guy next week! 🙂 We’re sure to have better weather this time.
