Every year I look forward to taking my wonderful friend Jessica McFadden’s family portraits. We are both California girls who moved to DC to work on Capitol Hill. Since our political days, Jessica has become a well known writer and blogger both locally and nationally. Her blog A Parent in Silver Spring is full of resources, events and activities for DC area families. A Parent in America is a lifestyle blog for busy parents everywhere with tons style and shopping advice, and best of all, humor. Jessica is frequently featured on local news programs and her writings have been featured on Forbes, CNN and the Washington Post, to name a few.
