Bluebells | Northern Virginia Family Photographer

I’ve heard about the beautiful Virginia bluebells for years now but I never seem to get myself out to Bull Run in time to see them bloom. It’s been a few months since I’ve taken photos of my own kids so I decided this would be a great time to snap some updated portraits and  to see the bluebells all at once. We got out to Bull Run with an hour until sunset, but it took us 45 minute to actually find the trail! (We aren’t the most “outdoorsy” family. Ha!) With 15 minutes of light left I was able to snap these sweet photos of my kiddos. If you haven’t been out to see these beautiful flowers it’s definitely worth the trip!
