I have loved getting to know this beautiful family throughout the years. They are always a blast to work with and I was thrilled to learn that they wanted to incorporate a baseball theme into their son’s one year portraits. We started off our session with some family photos at a nearby lake and then headed over to a baseball field for little man’s cake smash. I love how big sis jumped in and helped him out with the smashing at the end!:)woodbridgephotography1woodbridgephotographer17woodbridgephotographer16woodbridgephotographer6woodbridgephotographer5woodbridgephotogrpaher7woodbridgephotography3woodbridgephotographer4woodbridgephotographerwoodbridgephotogrpher13woodbridgephotogrpher14woodbridgephotographer15woodbridgephotographer8woodbridgephotogrepher9woodbridgephotographer12woodbridgephotographer10woodbridgephotogpher11

This gorgeous baby boy is so loved by his wonderful parents. He is such a cuddly little guy and he was happiest when mom or dad was holding him. Thankfully he didn’t mind taking some solo shots as well. And look at that gorgeous head of hair!newbornphotonewbornphotos10newbornphotos4newbornphotos9newbornphotosnewbornphoto8newbornphotos7newbornphotos5newbornphotos1newbornphotos2

This sweet girl’s first year just flew by! It’s amazing to me how quickly my little newborn clients grow! This doll is such a happy girl and she had a blast at her one year portrait session. Somehow she still looked gorgeous even with chocolate cake and pink frosting on her face.:)dccakesmash2dccakesmash1dccakesmashdccakesmash10dccakesmash5dccakesmash7dccakesmash8dccakesmash6dccakesmash9

I’ve heard about the beautiful Virginia bluebells for years now but I never seem to get myself out to Bull Run in time to see them bloom. It’s been a few months since I’ve taken photos of my own kids so I decided this would be a great time to snap some updated portraits and  to see the bluebells all at once. We got out to Bull Run with an hour until sunset, but it took us 45 minute to actually find the trail! (We aren’t the most “outdoorsy” family. Ha!) With 15 minutes of light left I was able to snap these sweet photos of my kiddos. If you haven’t been out to see these beautiful flowers it’s definitely worth the trip!bluebells8bluebells7bluebells9bluebells01bluebells6bluebells5bluebells4

I took this beauty’s newborn portraits and she was such a little dream baby for me, so naturally I was thrilled when her mom asked me to take her one year portraits! I can’t believe how much she has grown this past year. She has the sweetest personality and once again was a pleasure to photograph. Happy Birthday, baby girl!oneyearportraits13oneyearportraits12oneyearportraits7oneyearportraits4oneyearportraits3oneyearportraits1oneyearportraitsoneyearportraits9oneyearportraits10oneyearportraits5oneyearportraits6
